Healthy chicken Parmesan recipe!
A must have dinner recipe that’s so good you can’t even tell it’s a tad healthier than your old fashioned chicken parm with the batter and frying. For this recipe you are going to need:
2 teaspoons of olive oil
5 ounces boneless skinless chicken breast
3 tablespoons whole wheat flour
1/4 cup or 1 ounce shredded fat free or low fat mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup tomato sauce (I used RAOs tomato basil sauce)
This recipe makes 1 serving.
Steps:
Place oil in a sauté pan over medium heat
Dip the chicken breasts into the flour and coat both sides
Placed the chicken into the pan and cook until brown on both sides and the internal temperature hits 165°F
Reduce the heat to low and top with the tomato sauce and the mozzarella
Warm until the cheese melts
